TERMS & CONDITIONS

1- It is not allowed to use vehicle outside the Sultanate of Oman unless after getting No Objection Certificate from this office. However, if hirer fails to comply with this condition, he should pay (Fifty Rial Omani) as penalty to the office.
2- Any person who hires a vehicle and exceeds (24) hours without getting office consent, he should be liable to pay a fine (Fifty Rial Omani) foe each day.
3- Hirer is not allowed to smoke inside the vehicle and if any smell of smoke detected, he shall be liable to pay (RO 15) as daily penalty to the Office.
4-The hirer undertakes to pay due amounts on due date and if he delayed any amount he shall be given (5) days as grace period after which a case will be filed against him in the court and all amounts become immediately payable without any notice. Moreover, he shall be liable to pay delay interests of (50%) of total due amount for each day until final settlement.
5. If the hirer fails to pay due amounts on due date and the case referred to the court, he shall be responsible to pay advocacy and appeal fees.
6. In case of using vehicle in ungraded areas such as valleys, Hills and rough roads, the vehicle shall be technically inspected in the Agency together with imposing check, repair and stoppage period on the hirer until completion of maintenance. Moreover, he shall be liable to compensate the office (R.O 300) for misuse,
7- The office has the right to withdraw the vehicle or switch off the engine from the hirer, if he fails to comply with this agreement and payment of due amounts.
8-The hire agrees to return the car to the company for any loss due to his failure to company with his obligation. If he did not obey the condition he will be fined R.O. 1000/=
9- The hirer must notify the company about any mechanical failure or accident occur and the hirer should return the car to us for repair. Hirer is not allowed to carry out any repairs without the written permission from the company. If he / she does not obey this condition he / she has to be fine.
10- The hirer should return back the vehicle on expiry of the agreed rent period as stipulated in this contract otherwise he shall be liable to pay delay fine at a rate of two Rials for each hour. Delay shall be calculated on hour basis until receiving the vehicle in a good condition.
11- The hirer is directly responsible before the office for any complaint or case or any other abilities towards other parties in connection with vehicle whenever occurs,
12- The hirer has no right to participate with racing vehicle in rallies whatsoever as well as he should not exceed the prescribed weight to avoid occurrence of any technical default. However, if he fails to comply with this condition, he shall be liable to pay (RO 250) as financial penalty to this office.
13- The vehicle was handed to the hirer in a good condition, and he shall be responsible to fill with water and oil whenever necessary, If vehicle heat exceeded normal limits, the hirer should stop it immediately otherwise he shall be responsible to pay all repair costs.
14- If il is agreed between both parties to hire the vehicle for one month or one week and due amount not paid in advance, rent shall be computed on basis of daily rate. If the hirer tampered with speed meter, he shall be liable to pay penalty (RO 50) for each day and the vehicle will be inspected in the agency on his account together with bearing all related costs.
